The Essence Series comprises of a gist or summary of The Holy Quran presented using 4k Visualisation Videos.

Surah Al-Maidah was revealed at the time when the last effort of the Quraish to suppress Islam had been defeated in the Battle of the Trench, and it had become quite obvious to the Arabs that no power could suppress the Islamic movement. Therefore there was the need to formulate Islamic civil and criminal laws in detail. This Surah deals with laws in the matter of food, Islamic laws of marriage and divorce, prohibition of drinking and gambling and regulations about bath, wudhu and Tayammum to name a few. Further matters relating to the People of the Book and incidents of those times are revealed.
