San Gottardo pass via Tremola, Ticino, Switzerland.12.5 km of cobbled madness. A cross between Alpe d'huez and Thwaites brow.
The ascent to San Gotthard, an imperious climb along the old road of the Tremola - as spectacular as it is toturous thanks to the granite paving the lines the climb. Added to the long straight slopes near the summit that never drop below 10%, it makes for a brutal ascent.
