How to create an art collection for a college with a limited budget.
Dr. Andrea Siegel has curated the Foundation Art Collection at Hudson County Community College in Jersey City, New Jersey, for over 10 years. Prior to that, she worked as Assistant to the Director of the Allan Stone Gallery in New York City, while earning a Ph.D. in Sociology at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center. She also earned Certification in Fine and Decorative Art Appraisal at Pratt Institute in New York. In addition to her work at Hudson County Community College, she also teaches Sociology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY), and is the author of many books and articles.
