When we heard that Mr. Ugomdi Ogbonna and his team are doing the Aba Fashion Week again after the successes of the past consecutive years all by themselves, I smiled at what can be achieved once any human is determined to pay the price for their dreams to be birthed.
It is all always about the sacrifices, the sweat and all that would be done to birth an idea.
Aba is the commercial nerve center of Southeastern Nigeria and you cannot overlook the importance of this work being done by the likes of Mr. Ugomdi and their likes.
He is definitely on a journey with his team and it is amazing to see that they are determined to make the best out of this journey of theirs.
In a world where folks are majorly leaving the Southeast for Lagos, Abuja and overseas in search of safer and thriving business climates, brands like the Toskyme brand owned and run by Mr. Ugomdi Ogbonna - an Aba raised Ngwá man and other similar brands that are stubbornly building their brands in the Southeast must be supported beyond mere rhetorics.
