So I had the bright idea to complete the Queen Charlotte's track in one day...

This track is located on the Northern coast of New Zealand's South Island. It follows the coast of the Queen Charlotte's sound which is absolutely stunning. The QCT is extremely popular for hikers during the summer months, and usually completed during multiple days. In fact, I couldn't find any information on anyone who's hiked or ridden the QCT in one day, although I've heard people have.

On Friday, Aug 10th 2018 I drove from Nelson to Picton, took a water taxi from Picton to Resolution Bay (the actual start of the track is at Ship's Cove - 5km further, but that was as far as the water taxi was going that day), and rode for almost 10 hours. It was 90 km total to get back to my car in Picton.

This is quite the mission, but one I recommend for the ultimate "Type-2-fun-seeker".
