Before attempting this, I would recommend first trying to wash a load without any clothing in it to see if you still get the F51 error code. If no error code from washing an empty load, I recommend washing a partial load. If you are still getting a F51 error code after these two steps the next step is to remove the tub to look for loose articles under the tub or in the filter.
After placing the tub back in and re-assembling your washer, be sure to wash a light load first, and if you do not get the F51 code you are home free. Just be careful not to overload the washer. For most people, this will work.
****Please use caution when jacking the tub out. Use discretion to tell if to much stress is being placed on the plastic top lid this way you don't separate the tub from the lid. Severely corroded tubs may experience more difficulty.
