Colour! Weaving! Hand-Dyeing! Jacqueline James chats about her work, her designs and the artists who have influenced her creative journey. She hand dyes her yarns and uses traditional - Collingwood Shaft Switching Techniques - to weave her beautiful, colourful rugs & wallhangings. Major commissions include weaving for Westminster Abbey, York Minster and The British Library. Each weaving is exclusively made in Jacqueline’s York studio using British rug wool, cotton & linen. She’s custodian to the original Peter Colllingwood legacy loom.
