Protests in Iran have continued for a second day, calling on the country's leadership to stand down after it admitted to downing a Ukranian passenger plane.
Footage shared on social media shows paramilitary Basij forces firing teargas at protesters who were trying to reach Tehran's main square.
People are angry at what they see as the government's attempts to cover up the truth. The Ukraine International Airlines plane was shot down by the Iranian military on Wednesday, killing all 176 people on board. But the admission of responsibility only came three days later. The majority of the passengers were Iranian.
