Under the direction of art teacher Vanessa Lang, Keysor's third, fourth, and fifth graders created a huge Zentangle on our parking lot - turning the lot itself into a beautiful piece of art. Construction plans call for the lot to be demolished in June, making way for our new classroom addition. We decided to have a little creative fun first - while applying the many of the skills and concepts students have learned in art. Special thanks to Tracy St. Clair, who assisted with the project and composed the music, and Terry Handley, who recorded our process and created the video.
