It was great to be back at NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen to enjoy some of the epic Boeing E-3A Sentry AWACS planes from the NATO. These converted Boeing 707's still have the old original Pratt & Whitney TF33 engines. Insanely loud and incredible sounds! I caught two frames last friday, and the first one made a go around really low above the runway, just seconds from touch down! It seemed like an unintentional one. It seemed a bit unstable while descending towards the runway. After that it did a few touch & go's. Later on the day a second plane came in after a mission and I decided to do a overhead shot of that one. That was absolutely amazing! Insanely loud sounds! And it sadly became a full stop landing. Awesome to see these incredible planes again! Enjoy the video!
