A quick tutorial on how to set up an ILS approach in the Just Flight Arrow III with the Garmin GTN 750.
Correction: In the video I stated the Arrow does not have the capability to fly the glide slope. It certainly does have the capability but the AUTOPILOT does NOT have the capability to fly the glide slope. It must be done manually and I give directions on how to do that easily.
Note: I did not discuss turning the course knob to the final approach course. Be sure to do so, but if the course is not set to the final approach course, the localizer and AP will still function properly with a localizer since it only transmits on a selected course unlike a VOR which transmits in 360 degrees.
That being said, the focus of this video is how to set up an ILS approach using the GTN 750, not doing the approach itself. For more detailed videos on ILS approaches, visit the VIDEOS tab on my channel where many more ILS approaches can be found.
