There are about 8,000 registered Incorporated Societies in Aotearoa. Some of our ACE providers are registered Incorporated Societies so this includes you.
This session was offered as a first step to assisting our sector with understanding the changes brought by the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, how those changes will affect you and advice to prepare.

About the facilitator, Pam Davidson
ACE Aotearoa's legal counsel, Pam Davidson, has worked with our organisation for the last 12 years. Pam has advised on all our Constitution matters, and assists with the Annual General Meeting, employment and contract arrangements. Pam is active in her profession and her community. She was the president of the Wellington District Law Society from 2004 to 2006 and has been a Board member of the New Zealand Law Society. She is currently a member of the Tax Law Committee of the New Zealand Law Society. In November 2017, Pam was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Todd Foundation, a charitable and philanthropic foundation established by the Todd family to provide funding and support to organisations and projects in Aotearoa New Zealand that add to the Foundation’s vision of inclusive communities where all families, children and young people can thrive and contribute.
