There are plenty of TV deaths that no one sees coming -- even the actors -- but sometimes the writers are forced to write a character off the show. If an actor is leaving the show, the writers might just write them off in a way that allows for a return. But if they’re a bit angry at the actor for leaving, they might give them a less-than-dignified death.
