We’re proud to have completed the live fire training facility for @Wintergreen Fire and Rescue in Nellysford, VA. This unique 34’x28’ two-story ‘Burn Building’ has already become an essential training ground for our first responders, withstanding temperatures over 1,000°F during live fire exercises.

Built with CMU, concrete, high-temp thermal lining, and fire brick, the facility offers multiple rooms, stairs, windows, and doors for varied training scenarios. It features a standpipe for interior hose hookups, repelling anchors on the roof, and a ventilation hatch for roof entry training. The integrated safe room even records temperatures throughout.

This sophisticated structure, built to endure countless training sessions, ensures that Wintergreen Fire and Rescue—and all of Nelson County’s firefighters—are prepared for the real-life challenges they face. We are honored to have delivered this crucial facility to support our community’s heroes for years to come.
