At only five years old, Hannah was diagnosed with stage-three nefroblastoma, a renal tumor commonly found in pediatric cancer cases. The tumor, which was the size of a softball, led Hannah to undergo several rounds of chemotherapy, radiation as well as a surgery before it was completely removed. Now, at 14 years old, Hannah is officially in remission and was named the 2016-2017 Hyundai Hope on Wheels Youth Ambassador. In her role, Hannah helps to inspire other children battling cancer and contributes to raising awareness of the disease.
