I wrote this piece for my son Adriaan and we played it together at numerous occassions. The allegro theme was taken from my second Armenian Rhapsody for wind orchestra, which can be heard here: [ Ссылка ].

Frits Damrow, at the time my son's teacher, made this fine recording of the piece with pianist Eri Hayase.

I also wrote a version for trumpet and wind orchestra.
