Tenzin Choegyal is a renowned musician who originated from Tibet. Growing up, he'd listen to his mother's nomadic-style songs, which he credits as being the impetus for his love of music. Choegyal shifted to Australia in 1997 and entered the Australian music industry, collaborating with a number of renowned artists. He has been successful ever since.
The Sun Foundation's "Dhaka International FolkFest" is a platform that brings together folk artists from all over the world, allowing them to showcase their incredible musical talents.
