In this lesson, it is shown how the integration is performed to evaluate the different terms of the weak form. The integration can never be as easy as shown in previous lessons, and there is a need for a different integration approach, such as numerical integration. When it is needed is discussed, along with Gaussian quadrature and the quadrature rule. The use of Gaussian integration with different numbers of integration points is shown.
