Tempers flared on Thursday, as lawmakers set the schedule for the Cabinet’s “reconsideration” motion. A DPP lawmaker erupted in an argument with the legislative speaker over whose turn it was to speak. Despite the clashes, a consensus was eventually reached. Premier Cho Jung-tai will be invited to attend sessions next Wednesday and Thursday, and a final vote will be held next Friday.
During cross-party negotiations over the Cabinet’s “reconsideration” motion, lawmakers clashed over whose turn it was to speak.
DPP lawmaker Chuang Jui-hsiung’s turn was skipped and given to the TPP’s Huang Kuo-chang. A flustered Chuang protested to legislative speaker Han Kuo-yu. Han responded by telling Chuang to, quote, “keep yelling.” An argument ensued, and Han ended the exchange by leaving the seat.
Seeking to deescalate the situation, Legislative Yuan Secretary-General Chester Chou put a hand on Han’s forearm to calm him. At long last, tempers cooled and talks were able to resume.

It’s clear to see what you all mean by this. You want to wrap this all up by Friday.
The KMT had pushed for a final vote on Friday. But in the end, the three parties agreed to hold full sessions next Wednesday and Thursday to review the motion. Premier Cho Jung-tai will be invited to deliver a report on the contested legislative package. He will be questioned by lawmakers – 11 each from the KMT and DPP, and two from the TPP. The motion will then hit the floor for a recorded vote next Friday.

The lists should be submitted by noon on June 18. Submitting the lists late will result in forfeiture. The vote will take place on June 21. If the DPP can agree to this, then I’ll sign my name.
The timeline is finally settled, but there’s high tension in the legislature, signaling more clashes in the week to come.
