In this video, we are going to see how to run Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler 19.4 using Oracle JDK 11.
Important Note: Previous versions of data modeler does not supports JDK 11.
Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler is a free graphical tool that enhances productivity and simplifies data modeling tasks. Using Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler users can create, browse and edit, logical, relational, physical, multi-dimensional, and data type models. The Data Modeler provides forward and reverse engineering capabilities and supports collaborative development through integrated source code control. The Data Modeler can be used in both traditional and in Cloud environments.

- Support for Implied Foreign Keys

Regular foreign key or implied foreign key can be created
Work on views
Looking in database for possible implied foreign key definitions - metadata for the following database objects are scanned: bitmap join indexes, materialized views with aggregations, attribute clustering, OLAP definitions (cubes and dimensions), analytic views and SQL dimensions
subview selector can be used to define the scope of analyzed objects
