Today on our 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains. Part number TC2326. Keep in mind that this is being used with tire size 26550R20. The sturdy durable Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains provide extra traction in snow and ice. The diamond pattern is going to offer more tire coverage. The chains are made out of a nickel, alloy construction making them strong, durable, and rust resistant. The Titan chains are SAE class S chains made for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. These have a maximum speed rating of 30 mph, come in a quantity of two, and are quick and easy to install.
We'll show you how to do that now. I've gone ahead and laid out our tire chains just to make sure there aren't any kinks or breaks in the lines. We're going to start by taking our chain around the backside of our tire. We're going to send the yellow portion around first. We want to make sure that we have our tire in between this big section of our tire chain. Now we'll adjust our tire chain so that it sits around our tire. Now we can secure the top portion first.
We'll take our two ends and secure them together at the top of our tire then we'll come around to the front and secure the green hook to the yellow link. Now we'll move down to the bottom of our chain to secure that. We're going to take this gray link through our red channel at the bottom. You'll see it's still a little loose when we have it pretty tight. What we can do is adjust our green hook at the top and just tighten that up. Once we have our gray chain through our red channel we're going to take it through our red rings.
We'll fit it through both of our red rings and bring it across to the other side of our tire. We'll hook it into place and now we're going to drive forward a couple feet, get out and double check the tension, and make any adjustments we may need to. That's going to be our completed look at the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains. Part number TC2326 on our 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
