After completing the first version of 'THE GALLOWS' - independent directors Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff posted this trailer online in 2012 (as though it was being released by a major studio) in hopes of attracting attention and distribution for their tiny movie. The trailer went viral and did in fact attract the attention of Management 360 and @Blumhouse before eventually being acquired by New Line Cinema and @WarnerBrosPictures for a worldwide release.
The entire original 'GALLOWS' film, including the alternate ending and original actress who portrayed the character 'Cassidy,' can be seen on 'THE GALLOWS' Blu-Ray bonus features.
