Welcome to Day 10 of 24 Recipes Till Christmas! 🎄 Today, we’re making a Portuguese classic—Sardine Pâté. 🐟 This creamy, flavourful spread is a staple at Portuguese restaurants, but trust me, this homemade version is 100 times better! Made with butter, parsley, canned sardines, smoked paprika, and a hint of cayenne for a little heat, it’s simple, delicious, and incredibly economical. Perfect as a holiday appetizer or a quick snack. Let’s whip up this easy and crowd-pleasing dish together!

Ingredients
1/2 cup (113gms) salted butter, at room temperature
1 tin (120gms) oil-packed sardines (Portuguese if possible), drained
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon mild smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon of garlic poweder
pinch of piri piri seasoning or cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Ingredientes
1/2 cup (113g) de manteiga com sal, em temperatura ambiente
1 lata (120g) de sardinha em óleo (portuguesa se possível), escorrida
2 colheres de chá de pasta de tomate
1 colher de chá de mostarda dijon
1/2 colher de chá de páprica levemente defumada
1/2 colher de chá de alho em pó
pitada de tempero piri piri ou pimenta caiena
2 colheres de sopa de salsa fresca picada
