After Justice Anant Dave of Gujarat recused himself from hearing the case, another bench headed by Justice V M Sahai on Monday adjourned proceeding on former minister and convict in the Naroda Patia massacre, Maya Kodnani's bail plea till July 30. Nearly two years after conviction, Kodnani has filed petition through advocate Mitesh Amin seeking regular bail on the ground of her deteriorating health as well as questioning the lower court's verdict. In her petition, Kodanani has stated that she suffers from intestinal tuberculosis, heart ailment, spinal problem as well as severe depression. She has said that she is required to take electric shocks from time to time, and she was given such treatment earlier this year, when she was released on temporary bail. Social Media Links :-
