I recently sat down with Robert Eggers after being freaked out by his remake of a classic horror film, Nosferatu. After I spoke with him, it all made sense.
His ambition to recreate a horror icon is deeply personal and came with several production setbacks over a decade. We talk about all of that, his incredible attention to detail and what purpose folklore serves today.
How much do they rehearse and is Willem Dafoe allowed to ad lib?
He also has a message for fans anticipating his fourth movie and shares what he considers when looking at his next project.
So will you see it - and what do you think of his work? Share in the comments!
