Pivot tables are a great analytics tool and one of the things it can do is provide a list or count of items and give you a idea of how many of the same items are in a range of data. Basically you'd want to find unique values or it's opposite: how many duplicates there are. This video will show how to find duplicate values in one column record or in multiple column records.
