NEET 2022 Answer Key: Once the examination is conducted, all candidates remain anxious and curious as to whether they will make it to the cutoff or not. The National Entrance cum Eligibility Test is conducted for a total of 720 marks divided equally into 4 subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology - of 180 marks each. All questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with each question carrying 4 marks. NEET examination employs negative marking so for every incorrectly marked answer, one mark would be deducted.

NEET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained to pass the NEET entrance exam . NEET UG 2021 cutoff for general category candidates is 50th percentile. While for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants, NEET qualifying percentile is 40th and 45th percentile, respectively. In case of vacant seats left, NTA in consultation with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Dental Council of India (DCI) may lower the NEET cutoff. NTA will prepare the NEET merit list 2021 on the basis of NEET cutoff marks. Based on the NEET 2021 cut off, the admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 85% state quota, deemed/central university, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges will be done. NEET counselling for 15% AIQ, deemed/central university, AFMS/ESIC, AIIMS and JIPMER will be done by the Medial Counselling Committee (MCC).
