I am extremely excited to share this video with you today. These stampede days were one of my favourites in Calgary. Calgary is known as the Cowboy Capital of Canada.
The event or show Stampede is dedicated to encouraging farmers and ranchers.Calgary's national and international identity are tied to the event. It is known as "Stampede City," carries the informal nickname "Cowtown," and the local Canadian Football League team is called the Stampeders.
The best part is that the city takes on a party atmosphere during Stampede: office buildings and storefronts are painted in cowboy themes, residents don western wear, and events held across the city include hundreds of pancake breakfasts and barbecues.
No worries if you didn't know about this show and never planned to join. I have got you covered through this video to give you an idea of how the town looks, the vibes, and the happiness during a stampede.
