In this video we're going to go over a short history of Seven Marine, and why Volvo Penta acquired the company, and then killed it 3 years later. Other videos on the internet believe volvo's press release about environmentalism, or oddly blame politicians for some idiotic reason, but neither @Visioracer nor @LifeOffshore knows what they are talking about. This video explains the real reason that Volvo Penta pulled the plug on Seven Marine and their 627hp Supercharged V8 Outboards, and like usual, the answer is all about money, or lack of it.
