Among the many pressures the Covid-19 pandemic has visited on millions of people this year, anxieties connected to occupational infection risks are just one of countless new work-related and personal stresses many are experiencing now or are likely to experience at some point in the future.
Hosted by IOSH's Duncan Spencer, we welcome Sharon De Mascia of the British Psychological Society; Emma Mamo of Mind; Peter Kelly of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE); and Tricia O’Neill of Skanska, each of which look at details of the psychosocial risks and mitigations and ways to support workplace mental health.
They explore good advice and practice from their different spheres of expertise and cite examples and case studies. We will discuss the many roles safety and health professionals can play working collaboratively with line managers and other professionals in supporting colleagues during this time.
