Apparently, there's "something going on!" here. Yes, there is, it's called putting the flag spreader back on the staff because it fell off. That's it. Holy cow, people, try decaf and maybe some breathing exercises.
This is yet another reason to not use flag spreaders. They can pop off easily if not properly sucured or if they've been used for a long time. Here, the President travels and speaks around the country. The stage is setup, the flags are posted and someone works on making sure the flag spreaders create the best possible backdrop for him. After the events is finished, it's all taken down, put away, and off to the next events. Rinse, repeat. Wear and tear or it just wasn't secured. It happens.
