Thought it would be cool to try my first timelapse shooting some ice melting in a glass with the light creeping across the mountain valley in the background. Unfortunately it was so cold outside the ice wasn't even slightly melted after an hour and a half! Instead of abandoning I added a little water to speed things up which resulted in an uneven look.
Shot with a Canon 550d, 35mm F2 lens at f20, 1/40 exposure time. shot 320 frames, one shot every 12 seconds, around 2hrs. Intervalometer in camera with magic lantern. Put together with free time lapse assembler software.
