Hello!
It's been a while. This is a very spontaneous trip so we weren't able to check the weather & prepare much. As I have said, this is our not our first time but this is a pretty challenging hike for it to be called a minor or beginner-friendly hike. The slope is mostly 80-90 degrees steep and it was a rocky trail. It's manageable but I won't recommend it for beginners looking for an easy and minor hike.
The scenery is so beautiful and it's sad that we weren't able to reach the summit. We wanted to but the weather didn't permit us, especially it was hard already for us to reach the heart peak. We didn't want to risk ourselves.
couple of reminders based on our experience
• bring water
• don't bring a lot of stuff (keep your bag as light as possible)
• check the weather first before planning
• always be prepared for sudden weather changes
• gloves (& socks if wearing sandals) is a must
• make sure you have cash prepared (barya preferrably)
• make sure to pack your things properly especially if your bag is not waterproof. our things were wet after the hike.
• first uv
• your choice if you want to bring packed lunch, but for us, we didnt bring lunch, and we decided to eat after the hike in tanay bayan.
