We recently had a little holiday exploring North Wales around the Conwy area and absolutely loved it!
Learning about the eye-opening Conwy Castle, which was built over 700 years ago! A medieval fortress along with 3/4 of a mile town walls which are part of the UNESCO heritage site and are among the most complete in Europe.
Down by the harbour in Conwy is another exciting discovery. The smallest house in Britain!
Brought in 1891 by Robert Jones for £20, he was well known in the local area as a land owner and fisherman.
The house is 72 inches across, 122 inches high and 120 inches deep, an astonishing sight!
Not far away from Conwy is the glorious Bodnant garden and if you’re looking for a garden with incredible flowers and towering champion trees to walk alongside and explore, this is the place to go!
We had a lovely morning looking around the amazing estate with a fantastic backdrop with Snowdonia in the background.
Whether it’s hot and sunny as we had, or any other time of year, the beaches are lovely to visit. At Llandudno or Prestatyn (where there is a magnificent waterfall - Rhaeder Dyserth), we enjoyed the seaside feeling and even having a splash too!
We hope you enjoy this little taster of what north Wales has to offer and we highly recommend a visit.
