In this video, I break down EXACTLY how much money I make on youtube with only 10,000 subscribers. There are a lot of ways to make money on Youtube. As a small channel/ small youtuber, it's hard to rely on just one method alone so in this video I want to show you the different methods I use to make money on youtube.
The first and most common is I make money on youtube through Adsense. You can start to make money on youtube through ads once you get 1,000 subscribers and have 4k hours of watch time. The general rule of thumb is that most creators get paid around $5-7 per one thousand views. This differs depending on your niche and for the finance niche it's a lot higher. I get paid around $30 for every one thousand views which allows me to not have to get as many views on youtube since I make more per a view. Of course, the tradeoff is that videos about making money and entrepreneurship are not as popular.
The second way that I make money on youtube is through coaching calls. I have a link under all of my videos where viewers can schedule a coaching call with me pay to discuss anything 1 on 1. The common topics I talk about are Amazon, Walmart, and eBay but from these calls I have made around $5,000.
The third way that I currently make money on Youtube is through affiliate marketing. This is the smallest of the 3 but is the most passive. I make videos about software that I use in my business and leave a link for people to sign up. If someone signs up through my link then I receive a small kickback.
Going forward I hope to increase all of these and continue to grow my youtube channel. I plan to add more revenue streams and improve my content as well.
I don't believe that you should start Youtube solely for the money. I create videos to share topics I am passionate about and connect with like minded people.
