Intaglio printmaking is a printmaking technique in which the image is incised into a surface and the incised lines hold ink. When paper is pressed against the inked surface, a reversed, or intaglio, image transfers to the paper.
In this video, I demonstrate how I created a Collagraph with Monoprint hybrid using Intaglio Ink.

Carborandum Fine by Intaglio Printmakers
Wood Glue: standard DIY
Shellac: Robertson
Linseed Oil for making ink more viscous
Vegetable Oil and White Spirit for cleaning up
Newsprint Paper
1 x Perspex Sheets 1 x Enviroboard
Old newspaper for wiping etc
Scrim for wiping off ink and for plate texture
Tools: Paintbrush, Scalpel, Palette Knife, Drypoint needle, card
