12681 Andal (ex Sabarmati) WDG4D with 05046 Rajkot - Lalkuan Special Express !!

12681 WDG4D was the 1st ever dual cab EMD made by DLW to facilitate more comfort to Loco Pilots for better visibility both the sides. In Feb 2013 Indian Railways introduced the concept of EMD locomotives with 2 cabs on both sides & later on more WDG4Ds & WDP4Ds were manufactured. 12681 was named as *Vijay* and it initially belonged to Sabarmati(WR) shed but in 2022, it was transferred to Andal(ER) shed.
