Located in Brickfields, which is one of the earliest settlement within Kuala Lumpur, Riveria City is just surrounded by a lot of aged amenities such as schools, commercial shop houses, universities, temples, old walk-up apartments, also modern buildings like grade A office buildings, shopping mall and KL Sentral. Therefore in terms of convenience, it's just amazing. Those also results in a huge range of tenants for this project.
The building and unit design are spot on for the target audiences as well where it can cater to all forms of tenancy from long term to airbnb. The usage are even complemented by the facilities such as the roof top pool, co-working area, gym and lecture hall. However, I just don't understand the logic of having the Monorail cutting through the building without any connections.
In terms of architecture, I think it's cool. In terms of practicality, I just think the developer is doing their best to salvage the land but this project was heavily affected by the pandemic. The amount of delay was the major setback for existing buyers. And there are another 2 more blocks coming up. So those will be contributing to the noise and hassle on site for residents.
