The event went mostly to plan but a serious of issues on Saturday made things difficult for the railway including numerous lineside fires around Foley Park, a points failure at Hampton Loade, failures on the Q and "City of Wells" resulting in Thunderbirds 2857 and 43106 respectively to take their turns and a troublesome 1450 on a non-stop express run made things a nightmare for Saturday night but all was back to normal by Sunday morning.
