Is it possible to make water disappear? Well not exactly but you can turn it into a gel-like solid, and then hide it, by adding just a pinch of the amazing diaper powder - sodium polyacrylate. This amazing polymer molecule absorbs 500 times its own weight in water. If you were a 100 pound chunk of this stuff and jumped into a swimming pool, you would such up 50,000 pounds of water. It's hard to believe until you see it in action.
