This video is to bring you a closer look at the IVES DP1 Threshold or Floor Dust Proof Strike.
This is in the oil-rubbed bronze finish.
Non-locking.

Overall diameter of the face plate is 1-7/16".
Inside dimension of the dust proof strike is 3/4".
2-1/4" overall height.
1-3/8" hole for the preparation, 2-3/8" deep.
The depth of the hole you drill will be based on how you're installing it (i.e. with or without a threshold).
Masonry floors should have this grouted in place so it does not move.
This comes in the DP2 version, which is the same item, but incorporates a rectangular face plate.
Available in several finishes.
Used primarily with flush bolts, although people do use these with surface bolts as well.
Anything that you will be putting into the 3/4" dimension will need to be smaller, 5/8" at the most.
People will purchase these because they do not want dust or dirt to clog up the inner space of the strike.
The dust proof strike gets its name because of the spring loaded feature, dust and debris cannot get inside.
