I got this guitar in March 2018 and immediately decked the trem. (But I forgot I made a video about it :) )
This is one way to deck the tremolo system on a Fender Stratocaster.
In this video I just add additional springs and tighten the tremolo system.
If you don't use a tremolo, this is one easy way to turn it into a hardtail guitar
