Jay Slater, a 19-year-old from Oswaldtwistle, went missing in Tenerife on June 17, 2024.
He was last seen at a nightclub and then stayed overnight at a remote Airbnb with two men he met that night. The next day, he planned to walk back to his accommodation, but his phone battery died, and he hasn’t been heard from since.
Search efforts have focused on the rugged terrain of the Teno Rural Park, including caves and ravines, but finding him has been difficult.
Jay’s family is in Tenerife, using funds from a GoFundMe campaign to support the search. Former detective Mark Williams-Thomas has offered to help with the investigation  .
The situation is challenging, and the family is anxiously waiting for any news.
