The last time Dovetail themselves made a route set in the British Rail era was way back in 2019, with the route in question being Tees Valley Line - Darlington to Saltburn-by-the-Sea.
This route is alright, in the sense that it has a good amount of passenger and freight services (and it's improved with the addition of the Class 20 and Class 31), but I don't like its short and linear nature; it's only 27 miles long. As for motive power that comes with the route itself, you get a refurbished Class 37 as well as the Class 08 and Class 101 DMU.
