The US government will not pay salaries of staff working for Ukraine's Odesa governor Mikheil Saakashvili, contrary to recent media reports.
After a meeting on Monday between the US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt and Saakashvili, the US envoy said that Washington will continue to support efforts in Odesa to tackle corruption and strengthen policing.
