Supreme Court on 05th May declared the Reservation given to the Maratha community in Maharashtra through the SEBC Act, 2018 as ultra vires and uncsontitutional.
The 5 Judge Bench upheld the 102nd Constitutional Amendment which gave COnstitutional Status to National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC)
