Women work at some sort of laundry (?) machines; turning cranks. A woman riding a horse across field; toward camera; zigzagging -- like barrel racing without the barrels. Then a group of 4 ride horses across; a small crowd watching on right.
A woman drives a wagon; manoeuvring it between posts. Then a woman rides on the back of one of a team of big work horses; hitched together; she has a sack of something slung across in front of her. She leans down; opens gate and rides through. Another shot of this. A crowd watches in BG. Evidently this is some sort of competition for the women wartime farm workers. World War One. contest
