The booked loco for the Torbay Express on the 2nd September 2007 was 6024 kig Edward 1 but due to a problem the King could not work the train so an alternative had to be found. Luckily two class 37s 37410 and 37417 Richard Trevithick were in the Bristol area so EWS allocated these to the train.
The train is seen at Charlton near Cogload Junction and thanks to Andy Staite of Past Time Rail, I was able to travel from Kingswear to Paignton and video that part of the journey.The final shot is the 37s storming away from Paignton.
