Because of the short nights in northern Scotland, Badgers often start foraging for food before it is truly dark. This gives us the opportunity to photograph and film the Badgers that come to our garden for a free hand out of food.
We feed the Badgers every night, but it is at this time of year just before the longest day, we get a unique opportunity to watch them in the daylight. Only putting out a small amount of food each night, just enough to add a small supplement, helps them on their search for more natural diet.
