As much as one may like to believe that they are the chosen one and it just happens that the creator is reaching out because theyr special... please doubt and ask. Content creators are busy busy people, they don't have the time to randomly add people they don't know irl to request to be friends or chat with you everyday.

Even between creators, we check out the other's profile to see if their content intrigues us before becoming mutuals or reaching out, as brutal as it is to say, there is no reason for us to ditch our already made friends and networks to just talk to a random account with no content and following.
